The auspicious festivity of Navratri is just round the corner and marks the end of inauspicious period ‘Shradh’. The 9-day celebration is dedicated to Goddess Durga, who is worshipped in 9 different forms.

Every year Goddess Durga arrives on different vahans (mount) that symbolise a special message for the world. For this year, Goddess Durga chose a Horse to be her Vahana and as per sacred texts of Hinduism, this signals a danger sign for humankind.
