HOUSTON: Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee invited various community leaders to a press conference to call for the immediate appeal and overturning of the Brownsville Federal Court decision, overturning the President’s authorized executive actions on immigration reform.
At the Press Conference prominent community members Rahman Morton President (MACC) were also invited.
Morton mentioned in his speech to the community to not panic or be discouraged. America is a nation of Immigrants, also touch the subject for the community to be law biding, and keep supporting comprehensive immigration reform by President Obama.
