Anesthesiologist to Lead Injury Research Center in Seattle

The Harborview Injury Prevention and Research Center in Seattle, Wash., an affiliate of the University of Washington in Seattle and the Harborview Medical Center, has named Dr. Monica S. Vavilala medical director.

A professor of anesthesiology and pediatrics and adjunct professor of neurological surgery and radiology at the University of Washington, she has an undergraduate degree from the University of Houston and an M.D. from the University of Texas Medical School there….
