Dirty, foul-smelling froth was back in Bengaluru’s Bellandur lake and spraying passing motorists on Tuesday after a night of heavy rain, the worst in the city in August since 1890.
The clean-up of the city’s largest lake was expected to be completed by May, but the government is yet to finish clearing the weeds.
