Youngistaan talks about leaving old school thoughts behind: Jackky

Syed Afzal Ahmad’s Youngistaan will see Jackky Bhagnani and Neha Sharma playing Abhimanyu Kaul and Anvita, an NRI couple who has been living in together in Japan for three years. When Abhimanyu is forced to return to India following an emergency, they face hurdles in their relationship. 

Says Jackky, “Anvita follows my character to India, but since he is the Prime Minister, she cannot stay with him as officially only the wife is allowed to stay with the PM. The film talks about how youngsters needn’t do things just because society expects them to. It’s about leaving old-school thoughts behind.”

About her character, Neha says, “Anvita is a girl of today, with shades of grey. I empathised with her.” The film also stars Farooque Shaikh, Boman Irani and Kayoze Irani in key roles….
