On the show, Aamir and host Karan Johar talked about the MeToo movement. In the wake of the MeToo movement, Aamir had released a statement saying he and Kiran will not associate themselves with anyone who has been accused of sexual harassment.

    Karan started the conversation stating how the movement was necessary to clean up the industry. He said, “As an individual, I think that it is the right thing to have happened to any industry, not just the film fraternity. I think so because there was a certain clean-up required, a certain shift in attitude required and I think the women who are speaking up are empowered. I know how Kiran has a group of female filmmakers that have started a movement together and I know you put out something as well. What do you have to say about it with everything that is going on?”

    The sixth season of Karan Johar’s chat show has an interesting line-up of guests. The show, which premiered with Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt on October 21, will see Ranveer Singh-Akshay Kumar, Ayushmann Khurrana-Vicky Kaushal, Rajkummar Rao-Bhumi Pednekar and Aamir Khan among others. Now, joining the list of celebrities is Ishaan Khatter who will make his Koffee with Karan debut with brother Shahid Kapoor. Shahid appeared on the show last year with wife Mira Rajput.

    At an event in Delhi, Ishaan told indianexpress.com, “Yes, I will be a part of the show with Shahid Kapoor. I am extremely excited. Come on, did you see the hamper. Who would not be excited for that?”

    “Anu Malik is no longer part of Indian Idol jury panel. The show will continue its planned schedule,” read an excerpt from the statement, adding that they will replace Malik with guest judges.

    Koffee With Karan Season 6 will soon be back on television screens to give us some insight into the lives of the country’s most well-known figures. While the first episode will host actors Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt; Ranveer Singh and Akshay Kumar will be warming up the couch in one of the episodes of Karan Johar’s talk show. On Saturday night, Karan, Ranveer and Akshay shared a couple of photos on their social media handles, promising a fun-filled episode. Ranveer, who is famous for his quirky sense of style, amazed with his Versace attire, while Akshay kept it classic with a black jacket and camo pants.

    Karan shared one photo introducing the two Bollywood stars and wrote, “The koffee boys in the house!!! Wild whacky and beyond!” In another photo, we see Ranveer, Karan and Will Smith sharing the frame. Now, that makes us wonder if Will Smith will make a cameo during the Akshay-Ranveer episode.

    MUMBAI: Bigg Boss 12 had a grand launch in Goa last week. Host Salman Khan interacted with the media in his inimitable style. It was also for the first time in the history of Bigg Boss that the makers announced its contestant beforehand. Comedienne Bharti Singh will enter the show with husband-writer Haarsh Limbachiyaa. The couple joined Salman on stage and joked that money was a major factor for them saying yes to the controversial reality show.

    At the sidelines of the launch, indianexpress.com caught up with the fun-loving couple to discuss their participation in Bigg Boss. With Bharti hosting the next season of India’s Got Talent (IGT) with Rithvik Dhanjani, we asked how will she manage to do both the shows. To this, she said, “Woh to aap logon ko gumrah karne ke liye tha (That was only to distract the media). Yes, I did few auditions but now Rithvik will get a new co-host. Even I am upset about not doing IGT. I have been the face of the show for four years. But I will be in the Bigg Boss house for three months, so it won’t be possible.”

The actor was on her way to drop her five-year-old son to school when she faced an unfortunate incident of road rage. Rupali’s car’s window was broken, leaving her hands bleeding and her son completely shaken. The actor took to Twitter to share her ordeal.

    The incident happened in Andheri. Rupali’s car accidentally brushed a passing bike. The biker and his pillion rider immediately stopped her car and started arguing with her. While the actor apologised to the men, they were in no mood to back off. One of them broke the glass of her car’s window. The shards pierced Rupali’s arm and left her bleeding.

    ‘Just friends’ Tara and Nisha were consistently the top performers of the show. Tara’s expertise in ballet and salsa combined with Nisha’s prowess in Indian classical and Bollywood dance played a part in bringing them closer to the coveted High Fever trophy.

    The police said that 6-7 occupants of the other cars sustained minor injuries for which they were given first aid, while Sidharth Shukla was unhurt.

    Mumbai: Television actor Siddharth Shukla was arrested on Saturday for crashing his car into three others in Lokhandwala. The occupants of the other vehicles and the actor, were not seriously injured. The accident took place outside Shreeji Hotel on New Link Road at 5 pm when the actor was driving towards Lokhandwala from Oshiwara.

    The police said that Shukla lost control of his BMW car and rammed into another car moving ahead of him, which then crashed into two others. The police said that 6-7 occupants of the other cars sustained minor injuries for which they were given first aid, while Shukla was unhurt. Shukla (37), was booked with rash and negligent driving, causing hurt and damaging the vehicles under the Indian Penal Code and sections of the Motor Vehicles Act and released on bail.
