HOUSTON: Consul General D.C. Manjunath attended the IACF Scholarship Awards Ceremony 2026 hosted by the Indo-American Charity Foundation (IACF) on May 29, 2026 at India House, Houston. The event celebrated the achievements of 51 outstanding students of diverse ethnic backgrounds from five school districts across the Greater Houston area—FBISD, Lamar CISD, Stafford MSD, Alief ISD, and Katy ISD —who were awarded scholarships in the presence of their families, donors, community leaders, and dignitaries.
Consul General D.C. Manjunath appreciated IACF’s continued commitment towards empowering and supporting higher education opportunities for the next generation. He commended IACF’s motto, “We live here, we give here,” as a reflection of the Indo-American diaspora’s spirit of responsibility, compassion, and community engagement.
