HOUSTON:The Tagore Society of Houston HDBS held annual picnic held at the Bear Creek Park Pavilion 5 on Sunday, May 3 and about 40 people attended. It started with fresh omelets and jhaal moori. Lunch was barbecued chicken, fresh roasted corn, hot dogs, beguni, pakoras, potato salad, corn casserole, labanga latikas and mishti shingara.
Men’s and women’s musical chairs were super hits. Prizes were awarded. Kids played badminton while adults enjoyed adda with their friends and even pets made it to the picnic.
