Akshay Kumar and Aishwarya Rai are reuniting on-screen after 8 years

Filmfare reports that the two will be working on Rajinikanth’s upcoming film *2.0*.

2.0 serves as a sequel to 2010’s Robot, in which Aishwarya Rai played Sana, Rajnikanth’s love interest. Several sequences of the upcoming film show that Rai might be reprising her role as Sana, although she won’t be the leading lady.
